FFN


History


The Family, Friend & Neighbor (FFN) Program is part of the CARES/AB 212 Stipend Program.  This program is for people that are currently caring for at least one child other than their own for at least 15 hours per week.  The program will help caregivers through the Community Care Licensing process to become licensed family child care providers.  Workshop opportunities are also available for those caregivers not wanting to become a licensed family child care provider.

The FFN program has been available countywide for the last 4 years, communities served include; Arlanza, Mecca, Hemet, Corona, Perris, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Rubidoux and Indio.  During the 2009-10 program year the communities of Highgrove, Indio and Rubidoux will be served.
